Commemoration of the World Book Day at UMDR

Medium Term and Rehabilitation Unit

The World Book Day was celebrated at the Unidade de Média Duração e Reabilitação. This day is celebrated, since 1996 and by decision of UNESCO, on April 23rd, being a symbolic date for literature.

In order to commemorate the day, we made a book of homemade mézinhas, gathering the contributions of our users regarding the theme. With this type of activity we intend to promote the development of fine motor skills, stimulate memory, creativity and create moments of relaxation and fun.
